SAVANNAH Blues, Jazz and BBQ Festival
 

Head to historic River Street for a weekend of smoked BBQ and live music. Local jazz and blues bands will blaze the stage while arts and craft vendors sell their goods. This year, the festival is introducing Bourbon and Boots – a VIP ticketed event that will have bourbon tastings, cigar samples, live music, and food and wine from Ampersand.

First Friday Fireworks 

Celebrate the end of the week and the beginning of a new month with First Friday Fireworks on historic River Street.

Lay down a blanket as indie-progressive rock band Moon Taxi and hip-hop ska group Dirty Heads hit the stage in celebration of SCAD’s class of 2016 at this annual free concert in the park.

Seventeen food trucks will be setting up at Emmet Park for this day of food and community. This dog-friendly day will also include live music, free yoga, craft vendors and a corn hole tournament. 100% of the proceeds will go to local nonprofit organizations.

Juneteenth Festival and Free Family Day

Juneteenth is the oldest celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Free and open to the public, this annual festival features live performances and hands-on art activities for all ages, celebrating Savannah’s history and Gullah Geechee heritage. The festival begins with an interactive performance by Jamal Toure and other local storytellers, followed by demonstrations by traditional artists throughout the region.

Art Trivia 

Head to the Florence’s upstairs bar for a night of art trivia, pizza, fancy drinks and great prizes. Show off your artistic knowledge and win big. Local artist Heather MacRae will be auctioning off her work, and all proceeds benefit Art Rise Savannah.

JCB Mud Fest 
 

Battle through 5 miles of mud, obstacles and fun in this messy competition! Competitors will trudge through a muddy obstacle course in order to take the prize. Sign up or as an individual or as a team, and put your body and mind to the test!

Bark in the Park 
 

Spend the last day of spring having fun with your very best bud at Fort Pulaski. The Bark in the Park event is your chance to enjoy the wonders of the fort with your canine companion. This series event is a great opportunity if your dog loves getting out and meeting new people and new pooches too.

Get a little yoga with your beer! Melissa DeLynn of Dancing Dogs Yoga will help you reward your body with a light-hearted yoga class. Immediately following the yoga session, each attendee will receive 6 samples of craft beer and a souvenir glass. Grab your drinking pals for a unique yoga experience followed by delicious Savannah beers!
